Description

The project definition began with the construction of office space on a metal foundry industrial site near Sari, north of Iran. The need of our customer was to increase the office space and improve the overall appearance of the factory. After a field study and research by our team, the design idea changed to improve the quality of indoor and outdoor work spaces, the birth of a new organizational identity for a successful old factory, and the renovation of existing spaces instead of building new ones.

An abandoned warehouse for casting molds was turned into a showroom and conversation space, and a new floor was added to the office, as well as a glass box that formed the lobby and the main entrance to the factory. Trees and green space were added to all passageways and corners of the project to both reduce the severity of pollutants and increase the quality of the workspace. In order to respect the environment, part of the structure and objects of the interior spaces were made using factory waste.
