Description
Fidar Gallery is located in Improvement of Iran Wood Industry Industrial Town, Mostofi Ahmadabad. This project has been formed raising two questions. According to the employer’s request based on lack of vision, how is it possible to form a space which is not observable from outside? How is it possible to invite the audience inside?
Various long walls were made along the space to create micro spaces as well as vision restriction. These walls form window, show space, sales place and management room. Inviting the audience inside got more difficult with the formation of walls and closure of vision. By making a longitudinal hole from the beginning to the end of space and focusing on vision point, a part of next sequences was shown.
This restricted-but not completely closed- vision challenges the audience to complete the image. Rotating mirrors on both sides of the hole creates a reflection of audience and space and regulating them may increase the dynamism of the gallery. Neutral color pallet makes space less show off and pay attention to interior furniture. Just like white canvas in painting.
