Description

The project is located on the third floor of Iran mall, one of the largest mall in the world with at least 6 different food courts and various types of functions. First we needed to make the project visible and monumental with in the huge mass of the whole building then we needed to define a good dialog between circulation areas and siting areas and finally we were requested to response to the mall program for the project. First we put monumental odd objects (kitchens) in the middle of the space and we designed them to be unique enough so the space could be more visible. Second we locate more stores on the edges to manage the overall plan. Next we rotate and shaped the mass of middle kitchens to design public and semi-public areas for the space so we could reach new types of qualities for siting areas.
