Description
Individuals need shelter: A shelter which has been named HOME, a place either large or small to give you assurance, a coverture to save joy, solace, solitude and even irritations. PARVA house is the result of collaboration between architect and client. Her name is “Parva” which it means “Concern” in Persian. All she needs from home is solace, solitude, purity and safety. According to her demands and standards a 155 m² house beseems to be adequate so the diagrams of the spaces have been planned. Not only complexity and intricacy have been omitted from structure but also by adding extra large windows we tried to catch more simplicity. The basic idea is about defining a square which each part of life activities take place in one corner. Reading books, drinking coffee, chatting and making love: a quadrate which is called home.
The site is located in a mid-dense part of the city. Although is far from sound pollution of big cities characteristics, making solace is the most principal concern of the architect. The introverted manner of client and the extroverted morphology of architecture of Caspian seashore, resonance this paradox. To solve the problem the occupation area has been reduced down to 1:3 land’s area in case the yard helps the penetration of nature which is reached by breaking axes towards the wind-path and using the traditional solutions was the key to reach the answer.
Using transparent frames as vivid tableaus, capture the nature in its frame, the light can penetrate inside without any concern “parva”, a forever silence! And finally the last word is the small roof garden placed in second floor which has designed as an ultimatum for bringing nature in to architecture. It is a place to dazzle to far eye catching sceneries, to dazzle in silence.
