In praise of cultural diversity
The gap between generations has been generally mentioned as a challenging issue, regarding life in Iran, contradictory life styles which are mosaic-like combined together have been mentioned over and over, type of puzzle and heterogeneous textures from different and succedent types of lifestyles.
Tochal is a recreational place in Tehran that had remarkable development plan in recent years, thus the design of Cube Club was offered to us. In this project we encountered with many challenges such as special design terms, client visions, financial and time constraints and special requirements of construction, after the mentioned items, opportunities and constraints becomes the main influential factors in design process.
This project is somehow a re-imagination of a prevalent industrial diagram: juxtaposing a warehouse and its administration building in a local norm steel structure. Bringing to life the vast, but seldom perambulated area of the warehouse, and upholding its efficiency were taken into consideration. Thus it became clear that the most important matter was to avoid typical solutions, similar to the other structures in the surrounding area.
Not too far away from Iran’s capital, Tehran, Villa No. 30 is a family getaway house designed not to exceed 80 square meter foot print in order to meet the applicable zoning by-laws and the project budget. The design intent is to emphasize the very fundamental essence of architecture: Providing shelter.
“House”, in the contemporary city, in the din of closely-knit apartment buildings and in the grimace of distantly arranged villas, has been reduced to the status of a mere suffix. We converted the land of the “One-None-Stone” Project into a house to bring the suffix to the fore in order to turn the architectural tale into a narrative of space...

n many cases there are not few information about the buildings details such as name of Architect and any other technical information. so this is an approach to find out Iranian modern Architecture around of Iran by volunteering free photography.
Buildings are mainly constructed from 1900 - 1980.
معماری اقلیم گرم و خشک در معماری ایرانی
برای هر انسانی داشتن خانه ای محلی برای داشتن آرامش مورد نیاز می باشد و داشتن شرایط آب و هوای خوب و اقلیمی تاثیر زیادی در بوجود آمدن آرامش در فضاهای معماری دارد . مواردی از قبیل خارج شدن سرما و گرما از داخل ساختمان در فصول مختلف و در منطقه های مختلف از هنرهای یک معمار خوب می باشد .به همین دلیل اطلاع از شرایط اقلیمی در معماری اقلیم گرم و خشک هر منطقه برای آن امری ضروری می باشد و به دلیل اینکه بخش زیادی از کشورمان در منطقه گرم و خشک می باشد بررسی هایی در مورد اقلیم و معماری صورت گرفته که با بکار بردن این روش ها می توان در صرفه جویی در مصرف انرژی قدمی برداشت .
